Everything is difficult at the beginning. I believe the result is good by accurately cutting the wood chips into small shapes and matching them precisely to form an exquisite BOOK NOOK. The realistic setting of the scene perfectly restores the miniature world in the BOOK NOOK, allowing you to feel the charm and wonder of the miniature world!

Fun project but not at all for kids. It’s harder than expected. Some pieces don’t fit quite right but the wood is easy to trim/cut. The electrical took a while to figure out. Tip: to get street lamps to work, try to strip the red and blue wires before connecting. My daughter helped with painting & making the signs. Overall we are very pleased with it.

Wow what fun this was to build/assemble. I followed the directions and for the most part everything went together without a hitch. I had a few frustrating moments but those were entirely my errors and not the fault of the kit or directions. I started using instant glue but quickly decided that wood glue was the better choice for me. For the paper areas I used white craft glue. It took me some time to complete because I often needed to wait for the wood glue to dry. The wood pieces easily punch out and a small Emory board is provided to sand off the little burrs if needed. I look forward to assembling more kits from this company. If you follow the instructions you will have no trouble assembling. The included LED lights are a nice touch. (I assembled The Elves Library)

Looks great, but very fragile, especially the top arches. The led system makes it look pretty cool.

I had been eyeing booknooks for awhile now and I’m glad I finally got one. This was my first. I read all the reviews and I agree that the directions are not the best. That being said, mine didn’t come out exactly as intended because I misplaced the top piece and didn’t have room for another piece as a result. But thankgoodness for DYI, I was still able to make it work with a few missing pieces. I also screwed up with the dragon wings and had to take them off to make a wall piece fit. But with that being said, it still came out super cute! I listened to the reviews with the mirror and took extra caution, which paid off, so that my mirror did fit! I love the way it came out, even with the missing pieces! And I even created my own happy planner to put in the library. I think this started a new hobby for me, because now I’m looking into ordering more!!

Instructions were a challenge. but I got it together in 5 hours. few extra pieces that drove me nuts looking over and over again the instructions thinking I left something out. I would recommend this it was a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved doing this book nook. It is for my daughter for christmas who is an author. You need to have some knowledge of crafts. I feel someone who never does any crafting will find it a little frustrating. But it can be done. My biggest complaint is the instructions are not clear cut. Common sense takes over that. I altered mine in the end to show my daughters favorite books and the two books she has written. My other daughter makes 3d fairies so I also added that. I’m really happy and proud of the out come. These book nooks done sell for hundreds. So glad this one was affordable to make!!
