Spooky Alley is a Halloween-themed book nook. In a reading room or living room, it makes excellent furniture. This book nook is designed to bring DIY fun to all miniature house enthusiasts. There is a sensor on the front. When people get close to it, the LED light will turn on automatically. When people leave it alone, the light will be turned off after 15s.

One of the easiest mini kits I’ve put together so far. This one was mostly just punch the prepainted wood shapes out, then glue them into their corresponding slot. The led light is spooky greenish, and there’s a foggy mirror at the back that really adds to the deep dark scary alley effect. There are the requisite witches, ghosts and other creepy critters poking out from the sides of the alley. The finished kit is about the size and shape of a large hardback book. I got this to make for a friend and she & hubby both loved it. I really enjoyed the building process and almost hated to give it away. This has probably been my favorite build so far because it was simpler than other kits but the finished product looked more complicated than it was to make. If you’re a sucker for Halloween stuff you’ll probably enjoy this kit. Like all Rolife kits, they are organized and parts labeled well, first class planning and packing, and easy to understand step by step photo instructions.

It’s already on my bookshelf and it looks amazing. I would like the light to stay on longer, the timer is very short, but it is a minor detail. Good product, fun to put together.
